In continuing Goodnewsforpets.com's promotion of companies that celebrate pets in unique ways, we are featuring the Swarovski "Gang of Dogs" collection. The Swarovski® Crystal Company has been the worlds' leading producer of precision-cut crystal since 1895. In 2006, the company introduced a line of crystal critters under the Lovlots Collection. This group included a mouse, a moose, a turtle, a snail, a cat, a dog, a cow, a dinosaur and a sheep.
The success of the Lovlots prompted Swarovski to add a cow, a lion, a giraffe, a horse, a pig and a camel to the collection in 2007. In 2008, the company further expanded the collection by adding a group of four fun-loving canine companions under "The Gang of Dogs." This group includes two bulldogs, a basset hound and a great dane. This year, Swarovski added a line of seven felines to Lovlots City called "The House of Cats."
